I 💯 agree that body movement early in the day makes all the difference. I do 20min yoga and 30min walk before breakfast most days. (The dog makes sure the walk is every single day, yoga sometimes gets skipped).

This practice keeps thing #1 and thing #2 in more neutral or positive thought.

This is a fun read about a serious need. "It's like the activity kicks out the negative thoughts ..." So true! And yes, I'm one of the converted, and I'll just add that a solid routine for getting myself to my early morning exercise class helps me deal with the negative brain chatter on the way.
